Welcome to the newest AFR adult education program. AFR Strive is intended for 25-40-year-old farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness owners. The new program focuses on networking , business/personal development and industry involvement.
AFR Cooperative’s newest education program, AFR Strive, hosted its first Oklahoma agriculture industry tour July 27-28 in southwest Oklahoma. The tour focused on the cotton industry and how the cooperative model of business makes that industry possible in Oklahoma.
The Strive Southwest Cotton Tour is part of the new AFR Strive adult education program. Overnight industry tours, like the Southwest Cotton Tour, are intended to educate participants about agriculture and industry systems in different parts of the state. The small-group format also allows for in-depth networking between program participants and industry experts.
